This past evening we were lucky enough to Ebel replica watches attend a great event put on by the Swatch Group that celebrated Blancpain's collaboration with super-car manufacturer Lamborghini.The event was a sort of unofficial launch party for both the Lamborghini Murcielago 670-4 SuperVeloce and the Blancpain Super Trofeo Chronograph (which we wrote about at length here).We were excited to see this new limited edition sport watch in person, mostly because the public's opinion has been so varied on it.Some called it understated and elegant yet sporty (we called it that), others called it boring and hackneyed, and still others called it ostentatious with that red chronograph pusher.
After handling the Super Trofeo, we can say for sure that our Jaeger LeCoultre replica watches initial opinions stand.This watch is sleek, sporty, and understated.It is remarkably thin (refreshingly so) and certainly not ostentatious.Granted, the model we handled was only a prototype and things may change, it is unlikely things will change drastically enough to make this watch unattractive.Another interesting point is the price of the Super Trofeo.Despite the enormous amount of money spent on the partnership with Lamborghini, the marketing Blancpain has done for the piece, and the fact that it is a limited edition watch, it is still "only" $17,000.Of course everything is relative and that may be half a year's salary for some of you out there, but in terms of watches, it's really not that bad.
This price point is right in the Rolex Daytona / AP Royal Panerai replica watches Oak range, and this Blancpain is a hell of a lot more unique and really very cool.The production Super Trofeos won't be in stores until August or September, so you still have a few months to decide if this is the right sport watch for you.As for the rest of the party, it was your typical high-end watch function with free flowing champagne and delectable little snacks (the little burgers were fab), but what we enjoyed most about this event was speaking to a Blancpain watchmaker.
